The innovation of producing this kind of saffron was done for the first time in the country By "Zargol Saffron Group" in the year 1362, but the extreme resistance of exploiters and the market against this product, caused the acceptance of producing of this kind of saffron to last for several years.

then in the year 1367, in virtue of the letter No. 440/128-4299 the mentioned method was approved by the "Scientific and Industrial Research Organization" of Iran, and after this innovation of Zargol Saffron a big change happened in the production of Iranian saffron.
